Shopping hazards (2006, Vienna, Austria)

A short-term intervention on Vienna’s busiest shopping street during Christmas time. Shopping bags bearing warnings what shopping might do to you were distributed freely on the pedestrian ways and in front of the shopping mall entrances. Reactions were confusement, interest, laughter, and sometimes even anger about not knowing how to react.
